Woodsmith Mine required a cleat solution for existing brackets in a vertical access tunnel to a mine shaft.

Needed to accommodate various cable types.

Brackets are already installed in the shaft, requiring the solution to interface seamlessly with them.

Testing and Experimentation: Ellis received cable and bracket samples and conducted experiments in their in-house test facility.

Development and Design: Created new designs based on test results and produced manufacturing drawings.

The material and size validation was supported by hand and FEA calculations.

Two solutions were provided, one using an existing design and one an entirely new solution. Both designs were required and the products were produced by Ellis.

Drawings were supplied including part numbers for the project documentation pack.
