History

Arthur Ellis epitomised what today would be termed entrepreneurial spirit.

In 1962 he recognised plastic was the material of the future and Ellis Patents was born. Before retiring in 1987, Mr Ellis sold the business to its current shareholders and secured its long-term future.

Since then driven by design, development, short circuit testing and continuous investment, a groundbreaking range of metallic and composite cable cleats and cable hangers was created.
