Queensland Curtis Island LNG is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project located on Curtis Island - the second largest island of Queensland, Australia.

The gas is conveyed via a 540km subterranean pipeline system, comprising a 340km main export line linking the gas field to a processing plant in Gladstone. This 42-inch diameter pipeline is engineered to handle pressures reaching up to 10.2mpa.

Ellis were contracted to supply cable cleats capable of withstanding high levels of short circuit force via their dedicated Australian distributor IPD Industrial Products.

The Emperor Cable Cleat is designed for use where the highest levels of short circuit withstand are required, Ellis’ Emperor cable cleats are available for both trefoil and single cable applications.

All products in the range are manufactured in type 316L stainless steel, meaning they provide ultimate corrosion protection, even in the harshest of environments.
